The earthquake in Nepal on an intervening night shook the whole of North India. According to scientists, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground, 90 km from Pithoragarh in the east-southeast direction in Nepal. Its magnitude was 6.6, which was the highest-intensity earthquake in Nepal this year.
Three earthquakes in the last two days
According to data from Nepal’s Department of Seismology, tremors were felt for the third time in two days. Before the late-night quake, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Doti district at around 9.56 am local time on Tuesday. At the same time, an earthquake of 5.7 magnitudes occurred at 9:7 am. These tremors were also felt in the Doti district.
Six were killed, and five injured
Kalpana Shrestha, Chief District Officer, of Doti district, said that apart from the death of six people, five people were reported to be injured, and have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, more than a dozen houses have also been damaged in different places. A woman and two children are among the dead. However, they are yet to be identified.
Had to call the army
The army had to be called after this earthquake in Nepal. Officials say more damage has been reported in some areas. So far, rescue operations are being conducted by the army and other relief teams in the houses where information has been received about the damage. Apart from this, information about the damage done at other places is also being taken.

After the earthquake, the Nepalese PM tweeted and said, I express my condolences to the families of those killed in the earthquake.
